A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering two teenagers in an alleyway two years ago.

Mohamed Abdi Farah, 19, and Amin Ahmed Ismail, 18, were shot in the head on the Fishermead council estate in Milton Keynes in May 2011.

Thames Valley Police said the suspect was being held in police custody before being questioned.

In January, two men were jailed for a combined total of 70 years after being convicted of murdering the pair.

Fuad Awale, 25, was sentenced to life with a minimum term of 38 years, while 22-year-old Sharmake Abdulkadir was also jailed for life and ordered to spend at least 32 years in jail.

The men's trial heard Awale shot Mr Farah in a dispute about cannabis and because he felt the teenager had disrespected him.

Awale then executed Mr Ismail because he was a witness to what had happened.
