Three people have died when a car collided with a lorry and caught fire.
The Subaru Impreza was travelling on London's North Circular Road in Arnos Grove at about 00:30 GMT when it hit the central reservation.
It then crashed into the lorry, which was coming in the other direction, and burst into flames.
Both carriageways of the North Circular Road have been shut and police said they would remain closed during the rush hour.
Drivers were advised to use other routes.
A second car, a Vauxhall Astra, was also involved in the crash. Two men in that car and the driver of the lorry were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The crash happened on a stretch of the A406 North Circular called Bowes Road, near the junction with Natal Road, police said.
