Missing schoolgirl Zoya Anwar has been found in Birmingham city centre, police have said.
The 18-year-old was last seen by friends at King Edward VI School in Handsworth, Birmingham, on 26 February.
West Midlands Police said she was found by council street wardens in the city following an intensive search.
Five people were arrested by police investigating the disappearance of the Walsall pupil but were released without charge.
The four men and a woman, aged between 27 and 48, had been held on suspicion of kidnap.
Miss Anwar was a "straight-A" student who was due to pick up her A-Level exam results from King Edward VI School on Thursday, police said.
There had been a number of unconfirmed sightings of her in the Digbeth area of Birmingham on Wednesday.
The police said that Birmingham city council street wardens spotted her near to the Paradise Forum shopping centre about 23:00 GMT on Wednesday.
She was then taken to Birmingham central police station where officers were speaking to her about her disappearance, the force said.
Det Supt Jo Chilton said the circumstances surrounding Miss Anwar's disappearance "remained unclear at this stage."
She said: "The teenager had never been missing from home before and we had some grave concerns for her welfare.
"I would particularly like to thank the street wardens and security guards who spotted her last night and kept her safe until police officers arrived.
"We were overwhelmed by the way in which the media and local people got behind our campaign and I would like to extend my thanks to the public for helping us find Zoya safe and well," she added.
