Inmates face jail 'hostage' charges

Three inmates are to be charged with taking a prison officer hostage at a maximum security jail near York.

The Crown Prosecution Service said Feroz Khan, Fuad Awale and David Watson would be charged with falsely imprisoning an officer at HMP Full Sutton.

The male officer suffered a broken cheekbone during the alleged incident in May.
