A married couple have been found dead at their home in west London.
The 35-year-old woman, known as Poonam, was found dead on Friday at the home in Priory Way, Western Road, Southall.
She had been killed by "compression of the neck", the Metropolitan Police said. Her 36-year-old husband, Sanjeev Kumar, was found hanged nearby.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
A spokesman said officers were called to the address at about 15:10 GMT on Friday after residents became concerned for the couple's welfare.
The couple's next of kin have been informed.
