Police officer injured in shooting

A female police officer has been injured in a shooting in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police said two officers were called to a disturbance in Cardigan Road, Hyde Park, at about 04:00 GMT.

The officers were confronted by a man at the property and a gun was fired, the force said.
