Carol Kirkwood has the latest forecast for Christmas Eve as the storms continue
Scotland and Northern Ireland are bearing the brunt of the latest storms to hit the UK, amid continuing travel disruption in many parts of the UK.
Two people died in Monday's storm - a man in Cumbria and a woman in Gwynedd. A woman has also died in a car crash in "difficult conditions" in Shropshire.
Homes have been damaged, with 100,000 without power in southern England, and road, sea and air travel is affected.
High winds are hitting Northern Ireland and Scotland, and could reach 90mph.

The severe weather is causing disruption at some airports. At Gatwick, power problems at the north terminal are causing issues with manual check-in.
London's Heathrow is warning of problems and urging passengers to check flight details, while Bristol airport is also seeing delays.
Many ferry services are still disrupted, including services between Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Some people were forced to spend the night in their cars at the Port of Dover, waiting to sail to France, however the port has now reopened.
Tens of thousands of homes are without power this morning, the Energy Networks Association said. It said there had been "notable collisions" along power lines during the stormy weather.
Tim Field, a spokesman for the industry body, said engineers had been working overnight to restore power and he expected people to be connected quicker than after the recent St Jude storm.
In other developments:
- There cars were involved in the crash that left a woman dead and man seriously hurt near Shrewsbury, Shropshire, in "difficult weather conditions", says West Midlands Ambulance Service
- Five teenagers were also injured in a separate incident after their car rolled over in "wet and windy" weather conditions north of Wolverhampton, it says
- Two sailors - one French, one Swiss - were picked up by a ship after their racing yacht was damaged by 30ft waves and Force 10 winds 170 miles south-west of Land's End
- In Dorset, about 25 people trapped in cars by flood water have been rescued by fire crews, Dorset Fire Control says
- A man is in hospital after being trapped under a fallen tree in St Martin, in Jersey
- In Wales, fire crews have been dealing with flooding incidents across south and west Wales overnight, while an investigations are continuing into the death of the woman in Gwynedd
- In Devon and Cornwall, several properties have been flooded, while some homes are without power
- In Somerset, hundreds of homes are without power and there is disruption to transport
- A lorry and five cars crashed after a large tree fell across three lanes of the London-bound M20 between junctions five and six at 03:20 GMT. It has now reopened
- Police say a 48-year-old man, from Lancaster, whose body was pulled from the River Rothay in Ambleside, Cumbria on Monday was spotted with his dog in the river. He is yet to be named

The Met Office has amber severe weather warnings for wind in Northern Ireland and north-west Scotland.
In Scotland, its warnings were upgraded to include the Inner and Outer Hebrides, the north-west Highlands, Argyll and Bute, Orkney and Shetland. Snow and blizzards are also forecast on higher ground.
The strongest gusts so far were 69mph on the Isle of Tiree in the Inner Hebrides and 75mph on South Uist in the Outer Hebrides.
Northern Ireland Electricity said northern and eastern coastal areas and exposed high ground were likely to be particularly affected.
Flood warningsThe Environment Agency has one severe flood warning - indicating danger to life - in place, for the Sea Life Centre and Preston Beach Road area of Lodmoor, Weymouth.

There are more than 150 flood warnings in place for England and Wales - signifying that flooding is "expected", and more than 270 flood alerts, where flooding is "possible".
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency has about two dozen flood warnings in place but no severe flood warnings.
